Change only the visible date that is outdated; keep campaign terms, venue details and product claims accurate.
Keep month abbreviations, separators and capitalization consistent unless the design itself needs a new format.
A similar number of characters helps the new date fit the original space.
Dates on posters, signs and physical objects may be angled or placed over textured backgrounds.
Higher-resolution images provide more information for rebuilding the area and rendering the new characters.
Updating owned event and creative assets is different from altering evidence or official records.
